Mission (Our Mission)
In line with our university's 2026-2023 goals, our main objective as the Food Processing Department is to train technicians who do not compromise on food safety and quality, who combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and who possess ethical values.

Sectoral Integration: To meet the need for qualified intermediate personnel required by the sector by collaborating with the developed food industry in Bandırma and its surroundings.

Food Safety: To instill awareness of reliable food from "field to table" throughout the process from production to consumption.

Sustainability: To include environmentally friendly production techniques and innovative approaches to preventing food waste in the education curriculum.

Analytical Competence: To graduate solution-oriented individuals who can perform food analyses using modern laboratory techniques.
