Computer Programming Program

History

Our Computer Programming Program commenced education in the 2019–2020 academic year and offers students internship and professional experience opportunities through the 3+1 education model in partner companies. The primary objective of the program is to educate individuals who can keep up with the rapidly developing technologies in the field of information technologies, possess theoretical and practical knowledge in programming fundamentals, databases, internet programming, network systems, web design, and computer hardware, meet the needs of the sector with the required knowledge and skills, and develop solutions to problems encountered in their field.

The Computer Programming Program aims to educate qualified professionals who can collect, process, and analyze information related to business life and social needs, identify existing problems, and develop algorithms and software solutions to address these problems. Students complete their first year with practice-oriented education at the university and, during the second year, have the opportunity to gain professional experience by completing workplace training in a company of their choice during one semester before graduation.

To support the development of our students, practical courses are conducted in two computer laboratories, each equipped with forty computers.

Graduates of this program will have the opportunity to work in software development, networking, and internet technologies across various industrial organizations and service sectors. They may pursue careers as system analysts, application programmers, software developers, software testers, system programmers, database administrators, or specialists in the field of Management Information Systems.
