Students from Kepsut Multi-Program Anatolian High School Hosted at Our Vocational School as Part of Department Promotion Activities
As part of accreditation activities and department promotion efforts, students from the Accounting and Tax Department of Kepsut Multi-Program Anatolian High School were hosted at our Vocational School and the Accounting and Tax Department.
During the event, students were informed about the educational structure of the Accounting and Tax Department, course contents, applied training processes, workplace practice opportunities, career prospects after graduation, and the department’s activities aimed at developing professional competencies.
The department presentation was delivered by Head of Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nevzat ÇALIŞ and Prof. Dr. Mustafa YURTTADUR. In the presentation, the importance of the accounting and tax profession in both the public and private sectors, current developments in the field, the knowledge and skills students are expected to gain during higher education, and sectoral expectations were emphasized.
Within the scope of the event, students had the opportunity to learn about the physical facilities, educational environments, and departmental activities of our Vocational School. In addition, students’ questions regarding the department, career choices, university life, and career planning were answered.
It was emphasized that such promotional and informative activities are important in terms of strengthening communication with prospective students, increasing professional awareness, and supporting stakeholder engagement within the scope of quality assurance and accreditation processes.
Our Vocational School will continue to carry out activities that support students’ professional orientation, value stakeholder participation, and contribute to department promotion in line with its understanding of quality in education.
