An orientation program was organized for first-year students of the Department of Accounting and Taxation to support their adaptation to university life and help them become familiar with the department.

The program was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nevzat ÇALIŞ, Head of the Department. During the program, students were informed about the department’s academic structure, the general organization of courses, academic procedures, important matters to consider during university life, and opportunities for professional development.

Faculty members Prof. Dr. Mustafa YURTTADUR and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hatice YALMAN KOŞUNALP also attended the program. They met with the students, shared information about the academic process, courses, and departmental opportunities, and answered students’ questions.

The orientation program aimed to help first-year students become better acquainted with their department and academic staff, adapt more easily to the university environment, and begin their academic journey with greater awareness and confidence.

The program concluded after receiving students’ questions, opinions, and feedback.
