  • To be able to analyze the strategies and developments applied in foreign trade.
  • Having knowledge of national and international legislation subject to foreign trade
  • To be able to follow and interpret the developments in the world and country agenda.
  • To be able to follow the procedures, incentives, grants, and aids applied in foreign trade, national and international legislation, practices, and policy changes for new techniques and methods, and to adapt the developments to the foreign trade process.
  • To have the knowledge and skills to follow, control and intervene when necessary, in order to ensure that the trade takes place smoothly and on time during the process from the exporter to the importer.
  • To be able to keep all the records according to the laws in the foreign trade process.
  • To know the payment methods in foreign trade, the transfer of the trade value according to the payment methods and the foreign exchange transactions that are the subject of the banking transactions to be applied during the transfer, and to be able to follow them continuously in order to fulfill them completely.
  • To be able to follow and apply the developments related to the financing of foreign trade.
  • To know the place, importance, and function of all documents and valuable papers used in the foreign trade process and to ensure that they are fully ready at the time and place stipulated by the laws and regulations.
  • To know the place, importance, and function of all national and international institutions and organizations that take part and function in the foreign trade process, and to ensure that the necessary approvals and permits are obtained in a timely manner in line with the responsibilities imposed on these institutions by the laws and regulations in order for the foreign trade process to run smoothly.
  • To carry out research, to produce promotional and marketing plans in line with these researches, taking into account the changing economic, political, social, and cultural environmental conditions for the promotion and marketing of goods or services that are subject to foreign trade.
  • To have sufficient knowledge of mathematics, computer, and foreign language in the process from the beginning to the end of foreign trade, conducting the necessary research and analysis, ensuring the communication between the exporter and the importer, and fulfilling the procedures.
